Recent Wednesday Evening Classes
We take up the Augsburg Confession again, and begin a review of the second part, which treats of certain church practices that the reformers felt obligated to change. Specifically, this class looks at the practice of withholding the cup from the laity in communion (Article XXII), and the requirement that priests be celibate (Article XXIII), two Roman Catholic practices that the Lutherans discontinued.
